Product Designer

We are currently seeking a Product Designer to join our growing team. Your role will focus on developing our digital product. To be successful in the role you will need to be comfortable with digital design, creating high-fidelity prototypes, writing technical briefs for developers and also have experience in front-end development.

Your role would focus on developing our digital product across The Careers Department. This position will report directly to our Co-Founder (and product lead), you'll work closely with other designers, product managers and engineers within the team.

The Role:

• Apply your working knowledge of UX/UI processes and tools to TCD and understand the business strategy context.

• You will be the link between the product, content, sales and marketing teams and the developers to ensure all team priorities are being addressed.

• Plan and facilitate research plans and ongoing discovery and testing to ensure the needs of our various user groups are met.

• Effectively collaborate and communicate across teams, and with senior team members, to ensure design solutions are in line with the broader product and business strategies.

• Support junior designers in their capability development.

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Digital Product Designer or UX Designer.

• Proven ability to solve problems and create high fidelity prototypes.

• Ability to write technical specs to brief developers.

• Experience with front end development would be advantageous but not essential

• Demonstrated skills in UI design and a critical eye for the details that matter.

• Have shown an ability to bring clarity and structure to a user experience challenge.

• Advanced skill level in design tools - Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.

• Ability to work in a growing and dynamic environment with integrity and a sense of humour.
