Can I complete any task on The Careers Department?
You must complete a Virtual Work Experience task. The choice is up to you and you can complete as many different tasks as you’d like, you’re not limited to only one task.
Do I need to have an account to enter the competition?
No, you don’t. If you do not have an account you can choose from a limited range of tasks, available on this competition page. If you do have an account with TCD you will have access to the entire library via your log in.

Can I submit an old task I've completed to enter?
We are only accepting VWE tasks submitted between
15 August and 10 December.
If you want to be in the running to win for your state, you will need to complete and upload within this window.
What kind of prizes could I win?
There will be eight winners, one from each state and territory around Australia. Each winner will receive a $600 Apple voucher.
One of these winners will also be named the 'national winner' of the competition and will be awarded an additional $1,400 Apple voucher, as well as, one week's face-to-face work experience at the Seven Network. All costs associated with interstate travel are included in this prize.

The Careers Department, in partnership with the Seven Network, are hosting a National Virtual Work Experience (VWE) Competition.
To enter the competition, you need to complete a VWE task and submit it to The Careers Department between 15 August - 10 December 2022.
There will be 8x winners, one from each state and territory around Australia. Each winner will receive a $600 Apple voucher.

The Careers Department is an online careers platform available in 650 + secondary schools and 1000 primary schools around the country. Simply, we help students work out what they want to do, and give them the skills to get there.
The Seven Network have partnered with TCD to launch a National Virtual Work Experience Competition, available to all students. This is an opportunity for students around the country to discover and try their hand at a new field they may never have considered working in.
