We sat down with Iain McAlpine, Career Practitioner at Ellenbrook Secondary College to learn about how he used The Careers Department's e-Portfolio with VET students (year 9 focus through Careers Taster Program)

We had the pleasure of speaking with both Karen Burgess, who is responsible for setting the careers curriculum school-wide; and Zachary (in 2021) who implements the careers curriculum within key learning areas and classrooms across NHS.

Alexi Kayes is not only responsible for providing career guidance to all students, but she also develops a curriculum for Years 9 to 12 that fosters career exploration and direction. We spoke with her (2021) about how she promotes TCD to build students’ industry knowledge.

We spoke with Kylie Ham (2021) from Newman Technical College, which provides students with a higher education outside of the traditional sense. They prepare Year 11 and 12 students by offering regular work placements and VET courses in their area of interest.

Speaking with Nivanthi from Canley Vale, she expressed her enthusiasm for TCD's student-friendly and engaging features. They appreciate the platform's extensive functions and resources, which allow them to tailor the experience based on their students' needs.

We discussed how Batemans Bay High School has a focus on ensuring work readiness and career literacy. Both Abby and Chantal aim to centralise students' career information and expand their knowledge of available career options.
