For this component of the task, you will need to create a drawing (to scale) that shows what you’d like your patch to look like.
The space that you are working with is a 500 x 500 metre patch of space.
During your research of native plants, you would have identified what size they will be at full growth, you will need to take this into consideration when planning where to place each plant. This is important as you will need to allow space for them to grow.
On your plans include a detailed key of the plants you have selected to use. You can create your drawing by hand or Garden Planner

You will need to build a list of equipment required for this project. The park ranger in the video above mentioned a couple of key pieces of equipment required. You will need to provide the cost per item as well as a total cost for all equipment required.


Plan a Flora Restorative Patch
You are a park ranger on Rottnest Island and you have just been asked to plan a planting weekend. This means you have to manage the process of creating a flora restorative patch.
You will need to research a list of plants that are native to Rottnest Island and create a planting table using this excel ( here) that displays the following information. All plants selected for your project need to be native to the island.
