Social Media and Communications Executive

We are currently seeking a strategic and proactive Social Media and Communications Executive. Your primary purpose will be to design, implement and manage consumer facing and business facing communications platforms. 

The role includes writing press releases, underpinned by research and insights; developing social media strategies and managing an always-on presence. 

The role will suit someone who is a self starter, proactive, detailed driven, with strong project management skills.

To be successful you will be creative and strategic.

This is a full-time position based in Surry Hills (NSW).

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with the Marketing Director to develop an always-on strategy for B2B and B2C channels including; LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.

• Assisting account managers to create and carry out successful campaigns for clients

• Media liaison

• Maintenance of media lists/contacts

• Providing the media with creative and newsworthy content

• Monitoring of media and social media for coverage and client opportunities

• Campaign evaluation and reporting

• Drive the organisation’s media and PR strategy in conjunction with sponsors.

• Cultivate and manage school ambassadors

• Writing and editing content partnership proposals, including strategy

• Work with the Marketing Director to develop and implement of all marketing and communications resources and reports

• Direct the nature and tone of content and adherence to TCD branding and messaging, including any re-branding activity

• Identify opportunities and events for speaking and speech writing
