Social Impact Manager

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Social Impact Manager. Your primary purpose will be to design, implement and manage research, evaluation and outcomes measurement projects within our product road map, as well as analysing and synthesising data and research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendation.


The role will suit someone who is knowledgeable of the not for profit or social impact sector and developing and managing partnerships, detailed driven, with strong project management skills.


To be successful you will be creative, methodical and great at ‘telling a story’.


This is a full-time position based in either Surry Hills (NSW) or could be remote for the right person.

You will successfully

  • Design, manage and deliver high quality research, evaluation and outcome measurement projects, including literature/systematic reviews.

  • Develop program logic/theory of change for diverse services in The Careers Department.

  • Interpret data, analyse results using quantitative/statistical and qualitative methods to provide meaningful insights into The Careers Department sales, marketing and product team.

  • Review, develop and implement data collection and reporting systems and other strategies to optimise data quality for analysis and reporting.

  • Produce correspondence, reports, presentations, and visual materials to diverse audience to help them understand and utilise findings in their line of works.

  • Contribute towards the team’s continuous improvement process.

  • Help develop research, evaluation and outcomes measurement toolkits for the team and the organisation.

  • Build and maintain key relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Plan and deliver field works (focus group, site observations, interview, etc.), workshop, training, survey according to best practice.

  • Assist other team members in their projects and provide administration and logistic supports as required.
