
School Partnerships Manager - WA based
We are currently seeking a School Partnerships Manager based in WA. Your role will be to further The Careers Department’s presence in the secondary school market. You will develop lasting relationships with our current and prospective customers to build our business throughout WA, SA and the NT.
The Careers Department is the product that we wish we’d had in high school. We bridge the gap between high school and life after by giving students access to a range of careers and course module tasks that they complete in the classroom.
We are on the hunt for someone who can:
Drive the adoption of The Careers Department’s learning content to transform education for schools
Be the face of The Careers Department, manage and grow existing partnerships
Work remotely in a full-time position
Travel within Western Australia and occasionally interstate
The role:
As a School Partnerships Manager, your role will be to further The Careers Department’s presence in the secondary school market. You will develop lasting relationships with our current and prospective customers to build our business within your state, Western Australia, and also in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
You will use your skills to research, identify and qualify new business opportunities and even proactively create demand by engaging with the right communities.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the unique needs of educators and approach all opportunities with a consultative, value-orientated approach that will close the deal.
Responsibilities:
Develop a strategy and territory plan to prospect for new business meetings
Prospect calls and other activities in order to establish meaningful contact
Build and manage a pipeline that (with forecast data) will result in targets being met or (hopefully!) exceeded
Meet with stakeholders face-to-face and virtually utilising your strong presentation skills
Identify the correct influencers and decision-makers within each opportunity institute
Manage the CRM database and provide accurate reports
Attend events, create bespoke campaigns and act as a brand advocate for The Careers Department
Requirements:
A self-starter with a track record of successful sales development at multiple levels within an organisation (3+ years experience), OR educational experience (3+ years)
Qualification in career development
Target driven individual who is a genuine team player
A data-driven mindset and ability to analyse sales metrics to reflect on areas for growth and development
Current drivers licence (required for school visits)
